Learn MoreFrom humble beginnings to nationwide impact
Trustful Charity was founded in 2008 by a group of passionate Cameroonians who witnessed the struggles of vulnerable communities in their country. What began as a small initiative to help street children in Yaoundé has grown into a nationwide movement for positive change.
Our first project provided meals and basic education to 15 street children in the capital. Today, we operate in 8 regions of Cameroon, running over 20 different programs that serve thousands of beneficiaries annually.
One of our earliest beneficiaries was a young girl named Amina. Orphaned at age 10, she was struggling to survive on the streets. Through our intervention, we provided her with shelter, education, and eventually helped her start a small business. Today, Amina is a successful entrepreneur who employs 5 other vulnerable women in her community.
Stories like Amina's fuel our passion and remind us why we do what we do. Every life transformed is a testament to the power of compassion and collective action.
Trustful Charity is founded by a group of 5 volunteers in Yaoundé. Our first project serves 15 street children.
We expand to Douala, launching our first vocational training center for disadvantaged youth.
Our first clean water project is completed, bringing clean water to a village of 500 people.
We establish our mobile medical clinic program, reaching remote communities with healthcare services.
Trustful Charity celebrates 10 years with projects in 5 regions and over 100 volunteers.
Our annual impact grows to serve over 5,000 direct beneficiaries across Cameroon.
To empower vulnerable communities in Cameroon through sustainable development programs that address immediate needs while creating long-term solutions for education, healthcare, and economic independence.
We envision a Cameroon where every individual has access to basic necessities, quality education, and opportunities to thrive, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
We approach every person and situation with empathy, understanding, and a genuine desire to help.
We maintain the highest ethical standards in all our operations and are transparent in our actions.
We believe in working with communities, not just for them, to create sustainable solutions.
